I made this cover to wrap around a glass candle and tie in the back with ribbon. I took seasonal pictures of the spot that my sister and brother in law are going to build their house on our property and used those pictures for this project as a gift for them. The candle illuminates the photo and after it burns down you can replace it with a tea light. This would make a great gift for grandparents or aunts and uncles when a photo of your child is used. You could also incorporate this as a centerpiece for wedding tables by using an engagement photo. I would love to hear back from you on what you do with this project.

This pillow is easy to make and you can make it say whatever you want. I’m from Kansas so decided to go with, “I’ll get you my pretty.” I made another pillow that say’s “I’ll get you and your little dog too.” You can embroider the words as I did but can also print up the words on your computer and use either fabric sheets or iron on sheets.
Materials:
- 1/2 yard of black fabric
Make a big rat meat loaf for Halloween dinner.
Every year I like to make gross meals for my grandkids around Halloween. They absolutely love it and look forward to it every year. This year I made rat meat loaf, sweet potatoe bones, and lizard eyes in black sauce. (Creamed peas tinted black.)
Meat loaf:
Make meat loaf like you usually do but then mold it into a rat shape on a cookie sheet with edges or a baking pan.

This is another vintage Halloween craft using a cat instead of a pumpkin. This is easy to make and takes only a small amount of fabric. You can accessorize it anyway you want and could even paint it to match your own cat.
Materials:

- black, orange, and white craft paint
- short piece of wire for tail

Halloween gift bags.
Gift bags are really easy to make and can be made out of almost any kind of paper and even some fabrics. You can really use your imagination when it comes to trimming out your bags. Making your own bag is a great way to save money and it’s lots of fun.
Materials:
- I used brown parcel post paper but you can use almost any sturdy paper
- cardboard
- trimmings for bag and handles (you can use ribbon, twist paper or twine)
Halloween dog stockings.
These are another take on the stockings I did in a previous project. I added alphabet tags to spell out my grandogs names but you could make these for kids too. I made similar ones to give as treat bags for my Old Hag Party. They are very quick and easy to make.
Materials:
- 1/2 yard fabric
- 1/2 yard of sheer fabric to make ruffle for top of stocking
- alphabet tags (these can be purchased at Hobby Lobby.)
