These glass blocks make a great centerpiece or holiday decoration and are very easy to put together. The best part is that you can change them for the next holiday or special occasion because they have a hole in the top! I will add to this post each time I change it out to illustrate all the different things you can do with these blocks.
Materials:
- Glass block which can be purchased at Hobby Lobby or other craft store. They cost about 10 to 12 dollars but I got this one at half price when it was on sale.
- picks and decorations ( I got mine at Hobby Lobby also at half price on the add. )
- one set of LED battery powered lights
Step 1.
I put some fake acorns in the bottom of the glass block.
Step 2.
I put a fall pick that had a little sparkle so that it would shine in the lights. Mine had a big fruit thing on it that wouldn’t fit through the slot so I cut it in half and put both halves inside with the cut part towards the back.
Step 3.
I added a sparkly berry sprig to fill in a little more.
Step 4.
Cut a piece of wide ribbon long enough to wrap around block. Glue it into place with a couple dots of hot glue. Make a bow as shown and attach it to the top with another dab of hot glue.
I will like to see the craft you do for your house I am retired now and I love craft and last Christmas I did some shadowbox for y sons and family but this year I will like to make some holiday blocks the block that you show is beautiful please keep in contact with me. Thank You

The glass blocks make great gifts. You could add photos to make them even more personal.
